• June 24: Alpha test release 16 of MasterStudio 2.0 now available for download by registered developers. This fixes minor issues related to tabbing and focus that were introduced though the use of $norefresh in Omnis Studio 4.3, improves auto-tabbing between records, and was tested with Omnis Studio 4.3.1.
• June 10: PlanBoard 4.0 a13 was confirmed to work with Omnis Studio 4.3.1.
• April 16: Alpha test release 13 of PlanBoard 4.0 now available for download by registered developers. This new release features significant redraw performance enhancements.
• (January 25) MasterStudio and PlanBoard are now supported on Omnis Studio 4.3 -- patch releases are available upon request (these require Studio 4.1 or higher).
• (Nov 5) Preliminary testing of MasterStudio and PlanBoard with Omnis Studio 4.3 beta 3 has revealed no problems apart from a minor visual problem when using drag & drop from the Legend palette in PlanBoard. Raining Data has done a commendable job implementing Windows Vista Aero. Please be sure to contact us if you do encounter any issues. Windows Vista now is supported by MasterStudio and PlanBoard (see our note if the main menu bar is hidden in Vista).

• (Oct 26) Master Object Consultancy will be respresented by Mark Jones at the OmnisCentral Europe Conference in Fulda, Germany. Please feel free to approach Mark for a personal demo of MasterStudio or PlanBoard. And, if you still have applications running in Omnis Classic, don't miss his technical session on VDA's Classic2Studio Conversion Service.
• Still testing with Omnis Studio 4.3 beta 1 on Mac OS X? Be sure to read our note to solve a web enabler problem that affects MasterStudio or PlanBoard.
• Master Object Consultancy showed the latest versions of MasterStudio and PlanBoard at the Raining Data booth at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, March 15-21.
• MasterStudio 1.0.9 was released on January 3, adding a powerful and exciting feature to all of your MasterStudio applications: With no programming required, users can now open any pane or grid (and even tabbed panes) in a new window, allowing them to use parts of your complex windows full-screen!
• PlanBoard 3.2.7 contains important bugfixes.
• MasterStudio and PlanBoard are now fully supported on Omnis Studio versions 3.3.3, 4.0.3, 4.1.1, and 4.2 (Universal for Intel Macs). MasterStudio and PlanBoard on Omnis Studio 3.3.3 and 4.0.3 will be supported throughout 2007. However, upcoming releases (new features) will require Omnis Studio 4.1 or higher.
• At the OmnisCentral Americas 2006 conference, held in Palm Springs August 27-August 30, Master Object Consultancy was represented by Teije Bakker and Mark Jones from our partner VDA. They showed how VDA's Classic2Studio Conversion Service provides a "best-of-breed" solution for converting your complex Omnis Classic application to the Omnis Studio platform.
  
  Once your application is converted to Studio, new modules and applications can be built using our advanced MasterStudio framework.
• The MasterStudio Book (first two chapters and index, 3.2 MB) was updated for MasterStudio 1.0.8 and Omnis Studio 4.1. Order your printed copy.
• PlanBoard now comes with an evaluation copy of MasterStudio, allowing PlanBoard developers to try the MasterStudio "Quick Start" tutorial.
